A Relationship with God
God created you to know Him personally.
The Bible says: "So God created
man in his own image,
in the image of God created he him..." (Genesis 1:27)
You were made for fellowship
with your Creator.
The Broken Relationship
But something stands in the way.
"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God."
(Romans 3:23) Your iniquities have separated between you and
your God, and your sins have hid his face from you..." (Isaiah 59:2)
Sin has broken the relationship we were meant to enjoy with God.
God's Love for You
Even though we turned away, God still loves us. "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8)
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." (John 3:16) Through Jesus' death and resurrection, God made the way for us to be reconciled to Him.
The Way Back to God
"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." (John 14:6)
Only through Jesus Christ can our sins be forgiven and our fellowship with God restored.
Receiving the Gift
The Bible makes this promise clear: "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.." (Romans 10:9) For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." (Romans 10:13) Salvation is not about religion or works--it is about trusting Jesus Christ and entering into
a relationship with God Himself.
Life with God
Eternal life is more than just a future in heaven--it begins the moment you trust Christ. "And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only one true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent." (John 17:3) God wants you to walk with Him daily through prayer, His Word, and fellowship with His people.
God's Promise to You
When you trust Christ, you can be sure of His presence and His promise: "I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee." (Hebrews 13:5b) "These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life..."
(1 John 5:13a)
Will You Begin that Relationship Today?
Friend, God is inviting you to Himself. Will you turn from your sin and trust Jesus Christ as your Savior? You might pray something like this from your heart: "Lord, I know I am a sinner. I believe Jesus Christ died for my sins and rose again. I now trust Him alone as my Savior. Please forgive me and bring me into a right relationship with You. In Jesus' name, Amen."
(Important: The prayer itself does not save--Jesus Christ does.
What matters is trusting Him from the heart.)
If you have trusted Christ today, we would love to rejoice with you and help you grow in your new relationship with God.
